Masked_borders_Flux

The Masked Border series incorporates West Australian raw ochre pigments, hand ground UV pigments and traditional (western) oil mediums; fusing traditional and contemporary media in symbolic forms. The paintings are from observed and felt experiences from nature and art. Each are linked in the mind and action of painting. Shapes float and form from abstraction or pattern; suggestive of space rather than a singular view. The borders are between the observed and subconscious.
