Multiple portraits

This series of work spans a period between 1989 to 2014. The initial works from 1989 to 1997 were titled At Arms Length. They were self portraits made with an analogue 35mm Pentax K1000, Selfies before selfies were a thing. They were processed and printed in photographic labs as standard sized 6″x 4″ prints. They were exhibited as multiples on panels six photographs high by four wide. The images evolved as technology shifted from analog to digital photography.
